During the celebration of the 66th Annual Meeting at Mosaic Technologies, 10 deserving students across the service area were awarded a $500 scholarship towards their higher education. Awarded students within the Cooperative footprint were awarded an additional $500 for a total of $1000. During the annual meeting on April 23rd, Mosaic Technologies recognized Ashley Kurschner and Mackenzie Weltzin from Barron School District, Alexis Schlough from the Boyceville School District, Zoe Nelson from the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser School District, Alyson Comstock, and Lauren Kahl from the Prairie Farm School District, Madison Kwak from the Menomonie School District and Adam Anderegg, Ellie Pacholke, and Ayla Zuzek from the Rice Lake School District.
De Anna Westphal, Mosaic Technologies’ Public Relations Manager explains, “ On behalf of the company, we are thrilled to announce throughout the tenure of our scholarship program, Mosaic has awarded $135,500 in scholarship awards supporting 248 students continuing their schooling through higher education opportunities not including 2024 awards. This year we had twenty-five applications from across our service area demonstrating their leadership among peers, highlighting community and extracurricular activities, and crafting well-written essays. It gives me great joy to present to the recipients and shake the hand of tomorrow’s leaders.”
