The Salvation Army’s Executive Director Patty Gallaty accepted a $500 donation for the upcoming Family Fun Day from Mosaic Technologies. The monetary donation will support the purchase of school supplies and shoes for Barron County children. Family Fun Day is an opportunity for families across the county to enjoy a free lunch, games, and receive free back to school supplies. The event is anticipating over 700 students and their families to celebrate and kick off the school year in Barron and Rice Lake held Saturday August 12 from 10 am-2 pm.

Executive Director Gallaty stated, “This event means a lot to me because it changes kids’ lives through kindness and shows them that we love them and care about them, no matter where they come from.” Aligning with community organizations and supporting Barron County residents is an important pillar for Mosaic Technologies. The company continues to build strong connections throughout its service area and is pleased to support the Salvation Army. “While we work to bring connectivity to the underserved and unserved areas of Northwest Wisconsin, today we find value in equipping our community’s members with opportunities for successful tomorrows,” said De Anna Westphal, Mosaic Technologies Public Relations Manager.
