Mosaic Technologies learned about the Light the Way campaign and committed $5000 to support the Chetek Police Department escort to Washington, D.C. for the family members of the fallen Chetek and Cameron police officers. During the 2024 National Police Week, Chetek Officer Emily Breidenbach and Cameron Officer Hunter Scheel will be formally revealed on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

The Light the Way campaign supports travel expenses and rooms for family members and fellow department officers with a goal of $50,000.   Organizer Ashlea Olson stated, “This will bring closure to the families and the department officers.  Just by being there to see their names will be huge for us. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the community and partnerships.”  The total cost of travel expenses totals over $56,000.  The Mosaic Technologies donation will close the financial gap and make the journey more affordable.
